Geauga County operates under the standard Ohio county-government structure with separately elected officials for each constitutional office. Most offices have consolidated at the Geauga County Office Building (GCOB) at 12611 Ravenwood Drive in Chardon; the courthouse and courthouse annex offices remain on Chardon Square.
